E-2 visas are long-term resident visas issued to nationals of the United States who have a bilateral investment treaty with the United States; the investor and family members have all the rights of permanent residents, and are legally able to work, live, and study in the United States for extended periods of time; E-2 visas are valid for five years, with a maximum stay of two years each time, and can be renewed permanently.

Application Requirements

  • Established a business of a certain size in the U.S. with more than 50% of the shares.
  • Businesses need to operate authentically
  • The business has sufficient annual earnings
  • The investor assumes a management decision-making position in the company
