Ontario Employer-Sponsored Immigration, an immigration program launched by the Canadian government to support the development of Ontario businesses, aims to find overseas laborers who can create economic value for Ontario and grant permanent residence status. The new Ontario Employer-Sponsored Immigration policy was officially launched on April 28, 2021 Canadian time, and applicants need to register for the EOI to enter the candidate pool.

Application Requirements

  • The main applicant has a college degree or above
  • No criminal record
  • At least two years of work experience in the past five years
  • Holding a full-time long-term JOBOFFER provided by an employer in Ontario
  • Occupation belongs to NOC categories 0, A, B

Application process

  • Customer evaluation signing, matching employers
  • Get JOBOFFER (1 month)
  • Register Expression of Interest (EOI) and wait for invitation from immigration department (3-4 months)
  • Received invitation letter, submitted complete application, received provincial nomination letter (3-6 months)
  • Submit work visa application, federal application (1 month)
  • Apply for Federal PR stage, pass the medical examination and obtain the Maple Leaf Card (12 months)
